A Creative Spiritual Community in Brevard, NC

Center of the Earth is a space for healing, education, spiritual guidance, workshops, speaking events and art. It's also home of the Harmonic Egg which uses sound and light for energy therapy.

Margaret had a deep desire to participate in spiritual community and provide a place for people to congregate, learn and honor indigenous wisdom. She also envisioned a gallery space to display her late partner, Beth's, art. One of Beth's pieces in particular, Gaia, perfectly symbolized the philosophy behind Center of the Earth - it represents a deep intelligence and connectedness with nature and Mother Earth. We wanted to highlight this painting and use it as inspiration for the new logo. The mark is a simplified version of this piece including Earth, water, fire and air. It's clear, calm, grounded and a vision of a clean and beautiful, healed Earth.

The color palette combines a deep, lush green with warm Spring colors pulled from Margaret's own nature imagery. For the website, I mixed some of this imagery with our new brand colors and fonts and showcased pages for the Harmonic Egg, the Bearoness' artwork, events and more.
